The Good the Bad and the Ugly!
The Bad!
I blame EA/Maxis... for using such a stupid piece of software, so what's
the big deal with EA/Maxis?
Automatically unistalling/removing game expansions, just because people
have not brought the Spa Day game pack?
According to the game data in orgin it "CLAIMS" that
everything is installed, but in reality the content is not working. So that was
an update just for locking and opening doors, which i must say is a really
"GOOD" update. I tried it out,
and now the sims stay out of rooms they should not be messing in, for example,
someone comes around to visit and automatically goes to use the laptop, with
the door locked they can no longer fuck around and get to know my sims.
Solution:
Apparently the solution is to repair the game or remove "custom
content", but guess what? You need
to be connected to the internet, WTF! I
haven't even got to try it yet because guess what? I don't have a damn internet connection for
the game or my laptop in general, well not all the time, only if i venture to
find a wi-fi spot, which i can't be bothered to in fact.
I've just about had it with the Sims 4, just as i'm about to get back into
the Sims gaming mood something stupid always happens. And yes just to point out i refuse to buy any
of those shit game pack releases, and i'm going to stick with what i said.
Origin & The Sims 4?
I'm going to tell it like it is.
ORGIN sucks, why would EA/Maxis use it? Yes, it's good to keep a game
base up to date, but it's annoying. Not
to mention that my ORGIN application is corrupted, no matter how many times i
fix it it, constantly wants to update, no wonder i don't have ay MB/GB left on my C disk, after all those 70 MB
updates.
The Ugly!
So after each and every NEW update will everything you have PAID for be
unistalled every second? If so
"FUCK" the Sims 4, i mean come off it, you decide to give the game
another chance and look what SHIT they throw at you, SORT IT OUT EA/MAXIS.
Sometimes you have to let out your anger, specially when you updated the
game, then expected to play it later, offline.
The Good?
To be honest, without the expansion packs and game packs, the game runs
smoothly, and loads quickly.
