I thought it was time to get back into the Sims 4 mood. So most recently I
updated the Sims 4 game base. Now I know
I ranted about EA Games but that doesn't matter because I was only telling the
truth and I don't take any of what I said back because I was paying a lot of
$$$ and the prices ain't like they were back in the day for expansions because
the expansions used to be cheaper. And see the Toddlers edit game base tweak? I
was right all along EA could have edited the Sims 4 game base and eventually did...
a few years after. I love what they have done to the town. My Amber Rose
clone... has... came back? But she vanished??? How is that possible? Not to
worry I will delete her ass. I don't even like the real Amber Rose. I thought
she was sexy once but then she turned out to be a big... (finish that sentence
for me) I don't really play the Sims that much. Actually I kinda lost interest.
But I could always be sucked back in. EA recently listened to what Simmers
wanted. Which was more things for their child Sims. Pets and Weather is also
what people want in the game or have been wanting for quite some time. People
are too busy thinking about The Sims 5. What more can EA really do to the Sims
that they haven't? Make the graphics more realistic??? GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE
CLOUDS PEOPLE!!! Let us think about the Sims 4 and where that is going. I had
to let that out. After reading what people were saying on the comment sections
of the Sims 5 website - which is a fake website by the way. Yeah there might be
a Sims 5 but not yet give it a few years before making false statements or wait
for EA.
No other Sims in my town have any babies. And I refuse to make any new Sims
because I am happy with the Sims that I have created. I'll pick the Rubens as
they have a baby. It seems only slutty Grandma Rhonda Rubens is home my Sim who
has nearly died on several occasions. The feature I want to check out is the
toddler feature. My Sims are aging slowly because I want more in the game. And
I feel I cant really get into the game unless it has everything I want in a
game. Not to mention that you have to pay for each and every expansion pack and
let me tell you the expansion packs are not cheap. If you want cheap you can
get a Stuff Pack and we all know they suck ass, well anyone with a brain. If
you ain't got a brain I suggest you skip down that yellow brick road and ask
for one.
All the Sims were outside? But as soon as I clicked to play on them they
returned home. Great job EA Games - last time the game base was all messed
up. So where was I with the Rubens? Well
as you know I have many different kinds of Sims all diverse, different races. I
like to think of the Rubens as African Americans. Last time Jane Rubens was
pregnant and her father had not long passed away. She had a baby girl which she
named Trina Rubens.
Let me see? So there are several different traits to choose from. 1.
Charmer, 2. Angelic, 3. Inquisitive, 4. Clingy, 5. Fussy, 6. Wild, 7. Silly and
8. Independent. I'll choose Wild which makes your toddler spirited and full of
energy and they learn movement quicker but get sad if they haven't been
outside.
Okay so something went WRONG with the aging process? And the baby as a
toddler is now invisible. So I am going to save the game and exit and then
enter again. See this is the main problem with the Sims 4 and it is Origin.
When you don't have an internet connection and depend on Wi-Fi you cannot
re-install your game like you could with the Sims 2. You know if something went
wrong with an expansion you could remove it then re-install it but not anymore.
The game base depends on Origin. And people ask why? Well EA Games wanted to
protect the game from being pirated. But people already KNOW how to manipulate
Origin's game base and pirate the Sims 4 games. So that was kinda pointless
emulating the Sims 4 using Origin. Why couldn't the Sims 4 be it's own
application? Well I guess it doesn't
matter now and ranting won't change anything but... yeah I still get to share
what I feel.
Okay so invisible toddler!? But now she appears on the title screen? So did
leaving the screen work? I'll have to wait and see. The loading screens take
forever to load.
So I enter the house and the toddler is already speaking with her older
sister Lisa. I noticed that Lisa will not leave the toddler alone - she just
won't piss off and keeps pestering her. I'm playing as Jane (mother) and am
trying to feed her daughter.
It's quite hard to look after toddlers. They do what they want. Feeding
them is one of the main problems and keeping their skill bars full is also
hard.
I am just about pissed off. If you have a toddler Sim it is probably best
to have say one Sim parent? I noticed other Sims get in the way. I had to have
the toddler ask the mom several times to use the toilet as the skanky grandma Rhonda
got in the way. Everyone else is at school and college but she's in the way. I
fed the toddler as Jane now I'm asking Jane as the toddler to take her potty.
HOLY FUCK!!! FRUSTRATING OR WHAT? The toddler passed out before she could
go potty. What the hell is going on? Parenting toddlers is very hard... unless
they learn more actions. You know learn to do things for themselves then I
guess it is easier.
In the end the toddler did a SHIT in her diaper. FUCKING HELL!!! Wow...very
realistic. But I had other SIMS fucking butting in every second so I couldn't
get anything done. And my toddler is in an ANGRY mood and actually shed some
HATE towards her mother. It is not MY FAULT that I can't get around to helping
the toddler out. Jane's in the worst mood ever she's tired as fuck. Me the
player? I'm fucking stressed myself!!!
I finally got the toddler in bed and she is now enraged with such anger.
I finally got Jane to get some rest herself.
Kay Barbie Baxter sent a text message asking to hang out over her home. Err
no fucking way do I really want to watch some loading screens? No I don't! This
isn't the Sims 3 where you can just knock someone's door and enter their home.
Which EA should have done but went backwards to the Sims 2. Then again the Sims
4... is like a salute to the Sims 1 & 2. In honesty the realistic designs
in The Sims 3 were ugly and everyone knows it's a shame EA didn't use the game
"open world" base for the Sims 4.
I like how EA updated the mobile feature. They knew that they need to keep
the game fresh because people just lose interest and stop playing. Can you keep
people hooked?
Oh wait she wanted to
come over, I couldn't even read that the text message was so small or maybe I
read it wrong. Sorry Jane is TIRED!!! I can't get her to do anything. My Sims
all know one another. Some hate each other and others have great friendships
they have known each other since 2014 - the original Sims featured so it has
really been four years which is obvious.
Jane missed work and all the Sims in her household are stressed. Like they
always say too many Sims spoil the broth. 2-3 Sims are the most easiest to take
care of. And 2 Sims are easy and playing as 1 Sim alone is the easiest out of
all three.
Everyone is the Rubens house who is able works. Like Jane and Lisa for
example? Rhonda is retired. I wouldn't think of killing off Rhonda but she is
starting to piss me off and is no help. I noticed other Sims getting in the way
when you want to teach your toddler and yes they have free will but shouldn't
really mess up what you are doing.
Jane woke up and just ran off to work - WTF. And now she is just upset -
sad even.
Tyler showed up and Jane's son (I can't remember his name) decided to go to
bed??? Even though I tried to make him greet Tyler??? WTF!? Then Tyler said
he's going home because it got too late. Even though they all live in a
cul-de-sac. I guess if you want to see your Sims without them leaving you'll
have to visit them. My Sims just don't listen and it is hard when you try to
control a batch of them.
And so the Sims 4 stopped working. And was frozen for hours. I couldn't get
the screen off. I have no idea what caused it. It's good that I had saved my
progress. Remember Simmers always save your progress or you lose everything. Do
I care? NOPE!!! Couldn't care less because I saved in advance and the Sims look
after themselves if you play as someone else.
You can't really complain because the more the game updates the more likely
you are to experience game crashes. In the end it all goes down to your system.
I would suggest a computer that was made to run games. You can reduce the
graphics so that you can have a smoother gameplay. In 2014 when I first brought
the game it loaded quick but as more expansions came out. I didn't get them all
only the game packs I like and no not the "Stuff Packs" I don't buy
them. I only buy the full game packs that offer more. Because if you wanted
Stuff Pack items you could download Mods for free. The Sims as a game genre can
be played for months or years as seen with the first three. Time really goes by
when you get into the game. Trying to make your families prosper. I noticed
playing the Sims 2 in 2005 three years went by and it was like 2008 by the time
I had really got into the game and EA were still releasing expansion packs. The
Holiday one was amazing. But the Sims in the Sims 2 were dumb as fuck and had
no personalities so playing it got really boring. But EA refuse to follow their
original line-up and want to do something new which really doesn't appeal to
people. We want the original line-up as it always was. EA should have followed
the original releases then later added new stuff. Instead they got fans of the
series wondering what will happen next. People are not used to any of the new
stuff. They always think... pets? weather? holiday? Pets might be next in the
line-up as it was hinted. Remember the Sims 4 port rumors? What the hell was EA
thinking? So this time we get no ports? Why now!? Why speculate a deal with
Nintendo years back? Making people think stuff? Instead of saying
"NO!" the Sims 4 is not going to be ported. You got fake news posting
false information and having people believe that stuff is just wrong. I really
believed the Sims 4 was to be ported.
I always liked the Sims Playstation game ports. From the Sims 1 to the Sims
Busting Out to the Sims Urbz and the rest after that were all shit. Minus the
first Sims 2 port where you could control your Sims walking which was okay but
a little bit shit as there were just adults and aliens and it was laggy. What
was liked the most was the co-op play. Now many people complained they hated it
but I know many people who liked it. Not playing with freaks and geeks on the
net but someone who actually lives with you. Someone beside you, someone you
know personally. Those were the days and those first three games had just that
well for the consoles.
I remember the Sims 3 on the Xbox 360 it wasn't bad but
was only one player so my verdict for that was - SHIT! But it was a good
imitation of the Sims 3 for PC but didn't have much too offer. We all loved our
PC games too as they had more to offer.
But since games have advanced to the
Ps4 and Xbox One why hasn't the Sims 4 been ported? Maybe it was because the
game itself has that much bad feedback that EA think - FUCK that!!!
Let us just
work on the PC version and then move on to say the Sims 5? Or just retire the
series after the Sims 4 (they are not going to it's just a lucky guess)
personally I don't think they will scrap the Sims franchise as it brings in too
much money and the other EA games suck ass as they are all sports relate - well
to me anyway. But yeah I will continue to watch EA and see what their next move
is. Where are they going with the Sims 4? Only they know. But they listened to
what people wanted as of now so everything is fine and dandy as far as I am
aware.
We'll just have to wait and see what direction they go in next. Like I
said if you want to experience the toddler gameplay have a "MOMMY"
and a "DADDY" Sim or at least
one Sim who doesn't work who stays at home because all your attention is on
that one Toddler unless you hire a nanny who I guess who can do all the work
for you. Even the babies were easier to take care of. I swear the toddlers were
easier to look after in the Sims 2? But then again this is not the Sims 2 it is
the Sims 4 and emotions play a big part in this game. My current emotion is
stressed. I started on this article at 11PM and it is now 2AM in the morning.
After testing out a bit of the game I was able to have a small taster of the
game update.
I thought it over the next day while playing the Sims 4. Like I said it's
not that bad of a game. I was playing as Sindy Rose - Amber Rose clone. And
decided I wouldn't delete her but change her. Because why go through all the
trouble to create a Sim then delete it? So I went to edit appearance by
clicking her mirror. And you can change your Sim name which is cool. So if you are
unhappy you can now change your Sim's name instead of having to delete them. So
being as she was Asian looking to begin with she is now known as Cindy Xiao.
She has longer hair but is pretty much the same Sim but no longer is a parody.
I hate making Sim parodies of those media hungry people who always pop up in
the media. They kinda ruin your game. Your Sims game is supposed to be yours
and yours alone. You can get attached to your creations. Like as if they were
real people. I don't use the aging process because I want to use it later on. I
don't want my Sims aging and dying and getting married without my permission
unless I decide that is what I want. I want more in the game base before I
start doing that. Like I did with the Sims 2. I remember having all the game
packs and got a lot out of playing it. It's hard to enjoy the Sims 4 at the moment due to my HP overheating problem but I can get it to work.
