According to a recent interview with Rachel Franklin a woman who is in charge of the Sims, whom claims that their "fans" ask for too much, when asked why toddlers have not been added to the game. Rachel Franklin simply talked around it. So my guess is that toddlers are a no go. Apart from being interviewed Rachel was recently featured in one of the daily papers and referenced by someone "secret" in the gaming business who claims that she ruined Sim City and has done the same with the Sims 4.
GC:
So what are your medium and short term priorities for The Sims 4 at the moment? I was trying to check last night, and you still don’t have toddlers?
Rachel Franklin:
No.
GC:
Is that something that’s going to come later, in maybe the next expansion? Since that is one of the main things fans are still asking for.
Rachel Franklin:
You know, our fans ask for a lot of things! [laughs] And here’s the thing, we look at a lot of different factors. We look absolutely at things that are being said in public forums. We also have groups of fans coming in, but we also have telemetry to tell us what people are actually playing with and using.
What Simmers Think:
Sheri Paschen tells the gaming franchise that she is not buying anymore games until they make toddlers a part of the game, and many other people/comments agree with her.
Alejandro Tejeda goes in for blows when he lets Rachel Franklin know that she is a cow. And alot more comments hate on her guts, but i won't go in on them as this is not a "let's hate" debate this is more less let's understand what's going on and what is going on is that Rachel Franklin has ignored Simmers, so EA Games have or are losing customers because they are not satisfied. People now refuse to buy games, because most of the expansion packs are boring, we want REAL expansion packs not shitty little ones that cost a bomb and add very little to the gaming experience.

Now Rachel may look smug and have alot of followers, but many people are kinda peeved with her, I personally have nothing against the woman, only that she kinda ruined the whole game with those loading screens. So if anyone is to blame it is RACHEL as she is EXECUTIVE PRODUCER. Dear Rachel you need to open your eyes, you are basically ignoring pleas from "your" sim community. Now nobody can make you fix the game and make changes, but never less your product will lose customers and or get "BAD" reviews... something the Sims has "NEVER" had in all the years of every one of it's releases... minus that Game Boy Advance one the Sims Urbz now that STUNK!

Sims 5?
Rumor has it that there will in fact be a Sims 5. Don't let EA "FOOL" you, when they claimed that if the Sims 4 did bad there wouldn't be one, Yeah right the Sims are a major franchise... you think they'd drop the title just like that? It might take another 10-20 years, but in the future you'll surely see another game re-make, and this time they'll know what to do and what not to do.
